| Hi Little Deb, How much of the base mixture do you use for each recipe? That sounds like a lot to mix in with just one pound of hamburger.. | |

| Subject: MSG free bouillon.... Mon Nov 09, 2009 10:43 am | |
| For those who are allergic to MSG, bouillon is something that is forbidden in the diet. That is why we never shop in the soup aisle at the grocery store. Your recipe LittleDeb motivated me to check the internet and find out if there was such a thing as an MSG free bouillon. Evidently there is one called Herb-OX by Hormel. After procuring some Herb-ox I will definately try your Almost Hamburger recipe. I also found a website that gave a recipe for making your own bouillon by cooking the ingredients and freezing them in ice cube trays and putting one or two into your cooking when needed. Check it out Healthy Cooking by Design | |

| Sorry LittleDeb, I see now that each recipe takes a 1/2 cup of mix...I definitely will try these, my family loves Hamburger Helper, and these sound so much better, more like homemade. | |
