Milbank Succeeds at Quarrier Interpretation Empty

The fourth annual Quarrier Interp was held at Dell Rapids Public High School on Monday, November 8th. Students compete in three rounds of speaking with ribbons being awarded for their efforts. Ribbons include 1st Superior, Superior, Excellent, or Good. "Milbank stucdents did well again at this contest. This is an important contest as we didn't get out last weekend so this will warm up the regional entries nicely" said Douglas Tschetter who is assisted by Sandy Christensen and Tina Balling.
Winning the 1st Superiors were Brent Seehafer in Oratory; Jeremy DeVaal in Humorous; Taylor Welberg and Jesse Nelson in Poetry; and the Readers' Theatre team which consists of Sam Grorud, Jesse Nelson, Brent Seehafer, Mitchell Wagner, Timothy Whelan and John Ward.
Superior ribbon winners were: Duet Interp--Jacob Erickson and Michael Miller; Seth McDonald and Allwin McDonald; and Katie Loutsch and Sam Grorud; Drama---Brenna Rasuch, Morgan Jones; Humorous Interp--Taylor Welberg, Taylor Seehafer, Kasey Schmidt; Prose--Katie Loutsch, Allwin McDonald, Taylor Frevert; Poetry--Emily Pillatzki, Rebecca Schrupp; Oratory--Jeremy DeVaal, Seth McDonald.
Winners of the excellent ribbon were the duo team of Morgan Jones and Taylor Frevert and Poet Dezmond Ward.
