Ortonville New Year's Resolution

1. A change in the way other communities and individuals are treated. It is well recognized in the area that Ortonville's elitist attitudes continue to stifle growth.

2. A change in the way Ortonville views facts. To name a few fallacies created by the city leadership. the Mayor and Mr. Nypen is attempting to prove that the power plant will create a housing boom in Ortonville. This is a fallacy.

3. A change at the helm of Economic Development. Burt Nyben by his own admission had not been able to promote Ortonville and needs to step aside. He was at least partially responsible for the "Eahtonka" fiasco. Ortonville desparately needs to move in a different direction.

4. The way Ortonville continues to treat its citizens is very inappropriate. The Jurgens garage issue and the sewer system is just to name a few.

These changes would help make Ortonville a caring community.
