Interesting reading online from Star Tribune - lists the varies counties and cities that are in line for money from the stimulus package.

$29 Million

Scroll down to the end of the article and click on the list of the grants awarded.

PostSubject: Did we apply and was there a reason for denial   Minnesota Cops, Courts in line for $29 million Icon_minitimeFri Mar 06, 2009 9:13 pm

I found the article interesting and seemed to be pointing to regional centers receiving police aid.

On the other hand I was wondering, did we apply for this stimulus and if not why not?

Second, if we did apply, why were we rejected?

Does anybody have the any knowledge?

Nascargirl,

I scrolled to the bottom but didn't see the list of grants awarded. Is it still there? Can you give us a link to the list of grants? policeman

Okay -- I finally FOUND someplace that actually HAD the dollars on it. In fact, you can look by state. Apparently the Star Tribune removed their link (why? who knows...)
.
$29 Million
.
You can either click on the State or scroll down and look for the state you want.

It will open as an excel document....when you click on the state.

I cannot find out any info on how the funds were distributed.
