The free meal was on friday, that is over, but last night people came from Watertown and Montevideo as well as nearby to watch Food Inc. They enjoyed grilled, chicken, pork and beef all from animals raised outside with no antibiotics or artificial hormones, with homemade bread made with local eggs, flax, and honey and lettuce from the garden. A small group remained after the show to visit with others and talk about the show.
it is so important to know about where our food comes from, and how easy it really is to eat with many fresh, local ingredients.
Tonight some people are coming from Vermillion, and I think more from Montevideo, we are the only place in the state that has the movie right now. A least that is what i have been told, i have not checked personally.
