Messages?

What is the difference in the "Sentbox" and the "Outbox"?

I see there are messages still sitting in my outbox.
One of them was a reply I sent yesterday.

Do the messages sit in the outbox until the person you sent the PM to opens it or do the massages only get sent every so often?

Yes, When you send a personal message (PM) the person gets an email stating that they have a personal message and the messages are placed in your outbox and will sit there until the person receiving them opens it up.
