Happy Birthday! The Big Stone Community Forum is Celebrating it's Birthday Today.

We want to thank all of you that have made this site an absolute success. The members, the viewers and the staff. I would especially like to thank Liberty for the time and effort she has given.

Here are some statistics that demonstrate success with comparisons to other areas news sites.

BSLAF has been visited by almost 6000 new computers and has received over 22,000 hits in one year. The site averages 5.15 posts per day which we view is like a news article.

The topics have ranged from concerns of Grant County Citizens, declining populations, baseball fields in Big Stone City and corruption in Ortonville.

The Chamber recently bragged in a news letter about receiving thousands of hits per year. The total hits on this site according to their own counter was about 27,000 hits in 66 months.

Compare this site with 22,000 hits in one year. This site has accomplished in one year what the Chambers site has taken in five years.

In one year we just about have as many members as the Chamber does and it took the Chamber twenty years to develop this list.

That's a good start and I feel if done correctly that could be increased many times over in a short amount of time.
