Fort Sisseton Historical Festival

Fort Sisseton is hosting its historical weekend event. The Rendezvous Camp will have black powder shoots and tomahawk throws. The Frontier Army will be having Cavalry and Infantry drills, along with the ever fun saber and watermelon drills. There will be a children's scavenger hunt and frontier fashion show. The weekend will include plenty of entertainers including the Old Time Fiddlers. There are performers galore and even the highly anticipated "melodrama." You will find plenty of food and fun for everyone. Saturday night will have the costume ball for those who like to dress up and for those who like it casual there will be a Bluegrass festival.
