It is time to stop special interests in our small communities. Our communities and our children deserve better.
In Milbank it is unclear whether or not the city will continue to promote an anti-adult entertainment statute. Is a small minority, who have business interests, preventing what is in the best interest of the community?
In Big Stone City, does the strong lobbying efforts have priority over the children.
In tonights Ortonville meeting, Dave Lang reported that someone he apparently knows someone who would like to have a real estate development with only a partial plat to save money. Yet Mr. Lang was obviously opposed to a variance request because his employee had not had prior approval.
To each city, it is not good government to treat people (friends) as special treatment and to the rest a different attitude.
We need to promote a novel approach and do what is best for the community instead, what is best for my buddy who can make money?
Please help the forum in making government accountable.
