Do you know about HB1116?
In a nutshell, the president of SDSU makes about 400,000 a year 'moonlighting' as a board member for Monsanto. Some people worry that such positions cause conflict of interest as far as research and development is concerned. This bill would limit those who are employed by such places as state colleges, could earn no more than 10,000 a year in such jobs. This is a bi-partisan bill. Go look it up and get informed.

A number of years ago I had significant litigation with a Monsanto chemical and sought expert witnesses to describe the effect this chemical had on cattle. I called SDSU and they declined to participate.

I ended up obtaining expert witnesses from the University of Iowa and NDSU. When I read this thread I concur this needs to be completely corrected.

This gives the appearance of impropriety and just looks dishonest. Good job and excellent post.
