In the middle of the flooding Senator Franken visited the City of Ortonville and personally surveyed the damage done by flooding.
Although I may not agree with some of the things that he stands for, he showed genuine concern for those who were suffering.
He also had a representative out to visit as well this month.
He demonstrated that his constituents were first by these two acts. Taking the time to visit is a true act of kindness and consideration.
Senator Franken, thank-you for being with us to help us and be with us as we struggled during this past month.
