I see a cell tower is on the agenda.
At least one of them, built closer than a 1/4 mile from a home has been causing problems.
The family has severe headaches and nosebleeds.
When they applied for a permit some of the promises (in writing!) were a shield so the lights would not shine in their home. Did not happen. Also they promised no night strobes, just red lights, a short time ago the strobes started. Of course now that it is up and running the company who originally owned it has sold it at least once and it will be interesting to see if the zoning board will hold this company accountable and make them stick to the zoning agreement.
it seems zoning boards should not just be in place to grant permission to such things, it should be able to hold them accountable or shut them down.
In Excel twp in MN and the dairy at Veblen, SD, there are obvious non compliances, but no one seems to have the power to make the owners cease and desist.
This is why we must be careful of our property and why we should keep our neighbors in mind.
