We were not successful in obtaining an ICMA grant. The grant was written to support a Media Center in the lower level of the library. There were 515 applicants for the grant. They awarded 9 grants. However, Ortonville did make the cut to the final 15, but just not the final 9. That says a lot for our grant! Our next step is to apply for a State of MN Library Services LSTA grant. This grant is due on Friday, March 13. We will be applying for the funding for the Media Center. We will keep you posted as we hear.
