Upcoming Events. The Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs will dedicate the Minnesota Medal of Honor plaque Wed., March 25 in the Court of Honor at 2 p.m. at the State Capitol in St. Paul. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held on the 5th floor of the Veterans Service Building in St. Paul. For information visit www.mdva.state.mn.us/events. U of M, Crookston will host author and Vietnam Veteran Basil Clark in a performance of “Starkle, Starkle, Little Twink,” Friday, March 27 at 7 p.m. in Kiehle Auditorium followed by a panel discussion with Clark and cast members. The Royal Lao Veterans of America will host their annual Royal Lao Armed Forces Day celebration, Saturday, March 28 from 7 to 11:30 p.m. at the Bouasavanh Banquet Hall, 7324 Lakeland Ave. North, Brooklyn Park.
