| The community was founded in 1880 with the arrival of the railroad. Originally called Milbank Junction—for Jeremiah Milbank, director of the Chicago, Milwaukee, and St. Paul Railroad—it later had its name shortened.
The city is the birthplace of American Legion Baseball (1925).
What can you tell us about the history of Milbank?

| I am not originally from this area and would like to know more. I am familiar with the baseball a little bit, but crave for more information. | |

I too would like to learn more about the history of Milbank.

Interesting. I spent a lot of time at that DQ. I graduated from Jefferson High in 86' and VoTech in 88'. Was just starting 6th grade when we moved to Alex. My sister still lives there so I get back there every now and then. What years did you manage the DQ?
