At the Ortonville Library every third Thursday

you can play chess from 6:00 to 7:30

Cool,

I use to play chess a lot. A friend of mine taught me how to play the game in 6th grade. At recess we would take a chess board outside or to the school library and play a game or two everyday.

I use to really be into playing it on the computer a few years ago and taught my son the game when he was 6 years old.

He has no interest in the game anymore, but I still play every now and then on the computer.

I'm not any good, but I enjoy the game.

How many people on average show up?
What age groups?

How long has this been going on at the Ortonville library?

Edited to add: Do you need to bring your own board?

I do not know how long it has been going on.
Maybe you can call the library, and find out all of that information. Smile

The library has three boards, and theres people that bring their own.

I know how to play, but I have not played in awhile.
