The new report titled "Combating Tobacco in Military and Veteran Populations" calls for the Department of Defense officials to set a timeline to eliminate smoking on military installations. The report also recommends DoD officials stop selling tobacco products in military commissaries and exchanges and to prohibit tobacco use anywhere on military installations. The report can be read online for free at the National Academies Press website. The DoD officials recently launched the "Quit Tobacco -- Make Everyone Proud" website, which provides information and practical help
