Hwy 12 is slippery this morning and the wind creates limited visibility and more risk for high profile vehicles.

Rural county roads are extremely dangerous in Big Stone County. Drive SLOW!

There have been several accidents on Highway 12 going east today. If you are heading to Morris -- the roads are slippery until you reach Morris and then they are good going north (i.e. towards Alexandria). That's all I can offer from myself and family traveling today.

The trip to Clinton late this afternoon verified Nascargirl's experience.

By the golf course road I observed a 4-wheel drive vehicle in the ditch and was on glare ice almost all of the way to Clinton.
