Laverne Doering Retirement Empty
PostSubject: Laverne Doering Retirement   Laverne Doering Retirement Icon_minitimeWed Feb 11, 2009 5:20 pm

applause Laverne Doering is retiring from the Ortonville Public Library this month. We will be celebrating all of her years of service with a retirement party on Saturday, February 28, 2009 from 1 - 3 p.m. at the Library. Refreshments will be served. Laverne started working for the Library on December 1, 1991. Through the years she has not only worked at the Ortonville Public Library, but has also substituted at the Graceville Public Library and Appleton Public Library. Laverne and her husband Ron were also frequent visitors to the Milan and Montevideo Libraries. She is currently the president of the Friends of the Library Foundation. Laverne is the best PR any library could have. We will certainly miss having her at the library on a regular basis but look forward to having her on the other side of the counter. Please, stop in and wish Laverne well on her retirement. We are all going to miss her! bawling
