As Ortonville continues to downsize who should the county sheriff trust. The city has determined that the city's population is decreasing at such a pace that a city police department is no longer a goal.

What this may mean is that the costs of the law enforcement will now be borne by the county with little help from Ortonville.

Clinton-Graceville should consider having this law enforcement center and perhaps a new courthouse in Clinton.

Bottom line is that many of the people who oppose the Ortonville police department also are stabbing the Sheriff in the back.

There appears to be a group of citizens of Ortonville that are anti-law enforcement.

Be careful as the next victim of the ARTIE OAKES RAILROAD could be a county official.
